How to clean a water-stained window

Which window got the full treatment? Right! Second from left.

This is how I cleaned that window successfully (OK, maybe 95% success)

  1. Soak an SOS pad with lots of water and scrub the glass surface until it's covered with soap bubbles
  2. Scrub the spots off as best you can.
  3. Dry with paper towels.
  4. Spray an anti-grease cleanser on the glass.
  5. Dry with paper towels.
  6. Spray a good window-washer on the glass
  7. Dry with newspaper (colored ink is best)
  8. Polish with dry paper towels.
  9. Repeat steps 2 through 8 as often as necessary.
  10. Don't worry about it.
