It's true. On Friday I was size 14, and the next day I was size 10. I think I'll stay size 10 for a while.
I bought a pair of docker-type pants at Costco and decided to try them on after I got home. No problem, although they felt a little snug above the knees. Then I noticed that the size was 10! I haven't been size 10 for years. I think it's a special stretch fabric, but who cares? I wore them without any discomfort all day yesterday from church on. They felt great.
After church I took myself to Ray and Betty Levis's place for a potluck lunch with Dave's Sabbath school class. We started working on a jigsaw puzzle, so I dismissed myself and convened on my couch for two hours. Lois called. She wanted to go for a walk. So we drove out to the upper dam in my car and enjoyed walking and watching Rusty run and play. Then we stopped by Ray and Betty's place to see how the puzzle was coming and to pick up a dish I'd left from the potluck. Dave and Miriam had left a bowl there, so we delivered that. Then I came home and read for a while.
All in all, it was a wonderful day!
