Predictions turned true

I never try to guess who will win what, but in this case it seemed so obvious to me that before the World Series opened on October 24, I predicted (below) that the RedSox would walk away with the Series title in four games. Too bad it had to end in Denver.

Makes you wonder...Are the leagues matched properly? How could the Rockies come into the playoffs with a great season record but not one serious vote of confidence that they would win the series? Why not come up with a system of playing team against team until the two top teams compete against each other?
