The weather out there is downright chilly. Probably not that cold, but the wind is brisk, and it feels like December weather.
Just got an invitation to attend a seniors' thanksgiving dinner sponsored by church members. Of course I'd like to go but not if it makes me feel old!
I was sick yesterday for about two or three hours. Just a bad case of V&D, and after a long rest on the couch, I was back at the computer. I suspect food poisoning and can only blame myself for that. I think I left some food out too long before I ate it.
The news was crackling about a fire in the neighborhood. At first they said Linden and Indiana. That's where my church is! Actually, it's closer to town than that, on a short street called "Poplar." I drove near but not to the site this morning. Arson is suspected because they've found three sites where the fire started. Kay says it's just a couple of blocks from their place on Cherry.
Bro Dave and Miriam are on their way back from a trip West. Leaving Portland today to spend some time with Lora and family in Pendleton, and then back home on Wednesday. They've been gone almost a week.
