The World Series

Yes, sirree! The World Series starts tonight!

The Boston Red Sox versus the Colorado Rockies. What a match! All season I've been watching the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves with a few games by the Cleveland Indians and one or two with the Boston Red Sox.

So here I am at the verge of the World Series with no team in my pocket.

I guess I should root for the underdog, the Colorado Rockies. After all, Colorado is next door from Idaho, just a couple of states east. But I am so sure that the Red Sox are going to pummel them in four straight games that I'm reluctant to be disappointed game after game in the Series.

I distinctly remember when the World Series was played the first week of October. Here it is, almost November, and the games are just starting. I'm already in the mood to watch football...
