Here We Go!

Yesterday was my last, I hoped, visit with the bone doc regarding the wrist I broke on June 9.

He showed me on the x-ray that the pointed end of one of the bones (radius) that I broke is still separated from the rest of the bone, but he thinks it will still attach if I can put up with some discomfort for a while. He gives it three months. If it's still floating and hurting by the first of December, he'll make a small incision and dig out the bone piece.

If it hurts I'll be wearing a wrist brace for a while. The good news is I can do just about anything I want to. Including taking a week's vacation to visit my friend Donna in northern California. Whoopee!
