I drove into my garage about 8:15 last night after eight days pretending to be fully retired with no home-bound responsibilities. I spent a week visiting friends, Donna and Al Voth, in Angwin, California. I totally disconnected from my business, although I checked for email and phone calls now and then.
Enjoyed walking on the beach, shopping in gift shops, driving through gorgeous countryside with at least seven thousand vineyards in the Napa area, traveling to Lodi for a week end, and generally enjoying a laid-back life for a week.
Yesterday on my way home, between Winnemucca and Jordan Valley, my mind cleared, and ideas swirled at a breathtaking speed for projects I could or should do. This morning I'm back to normal.
